Shawarma Sambosa

Ingredients:

⦁ Salo dough (for frying)
⦁ Cream cheese
⦁ Dates
⦁ Sweetened condensed milk
⦁ Cinnamon or pistachios (for garnish, optional)

Preparation Steps:

  1. Shawarma Filling
    1/2 kg chicken breasts, sliced
    Marinate with:
    ⦁ Juice of 1 lemon
    ⦁ Juice of 1 orange
    ⦁ 3 minced garlic cloves
    ⦁ 3 tablespoons olive oil
    ⦁ 1 teaspoon each of salt, black pepper, and paprika
    Marinate in the fridge for 1 hour
    Then sauté the chicken on a griddle until cooked. Use for filling along with some fries and mozzarella cheese.
  2. Sauce:
    ⦁ 1/4 cup mayonnaise
    ⦁ 1/4 cup ketchup
    ⦁ Hot sauce
    ⦁ A pinch of garlic powder
  3.  Ground Meat Filling
    Cook ground meat until browned and the water evaporates. Add salt, black pepper, and onion. Once the onion and meat are cooked, remove from heat and mix in parsley.
  4.  Cheese Filling
    White cheese + mozzarella cheese + fresh mint
