Four Cheese Ravioli with Creamy Pesto Sauce
Ingredients:
⦁ 1 package of four cheese ravioli
⦁ 1 tablespoon butter
⦁ 1 tablespoon olive oil
⦁ 2 cloves garlic, crushed
⦁ 1 teaspoon Italian spices
⦁ 2 tablespoons pesto sauce
⦁ 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
⦁ 3/4 cup cooking cream
⦁ Dried tomatoes for garnish
Preparation Steps:
- Boil the Ravioli:
⦁ In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a generous amount of olive oil.
⦁ Add the ravioli and cook until they float to the surface, about 4-5 minutes.
⦁ Reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water, then drain the ravioli. - Prepare the Sauce:
⦁ In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
⦁ Once the butter has melted, add the crushed garlic cloves and Italian spices. Cook until the garlic becomes fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. - Combine Ingredients:
⦁ Stir in the pesto sauce, cooking cream, reserved ravioli cooking water, and Parmesan cheese.
⦁ Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce is well combined and slightly thickened. - Add Ravioli:
⦁ Add the drained ravioli to the skillet and gently stir to coat them in the sauce.
⦁ Cook for an additional minute, then turn off the heat. - Garnish and Serve:
⦁ Transfer the ravioli to a serving dish.
⦁ Garnish with dried tomatoes.
⦁ Serve immediately and enjoy!
