Easy Solo Mantu with Light Solo Dough

Ingredients:

⦁ Solo light dough
⦁ 500 grams (half a kilo) minced meat
⦁ 1 onion, finely chopped
⦁ 1 teaspoon salt
⦁ 1 teaspoon black pepper
⦁ 1 teaspoon cumin
⦁ Oil (for greasing the steamer)
⦁ Chili and cumin (for serving)

Preparation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Filling:
⦁ In a bowl, mix the minced meat with the finely chopped onion, salt, black pepper, and cumin until well combined.
  2. Fill the Dough:
⦁ Take a piece of Solo light dough and place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center.
⦁ Fold and seal the dough around the filling to form mantu pieces. You can shape them as desired, typically folding and pinching the edges to seal well.
  3.  Prepare the Steamer:
⦁ Grease the steamer with oil to prevent sticking.
⦁ Arrange the mantu pieces in the steamer, making sure they are not touching each other.
  4.  Steam the Mantu:
⦁ Cover the steamer and cook the mantu for 20 minutes, or until the dough is cooked and the meat is fully cooked through.
  5.  Serve:
⦁ Serve the steamed mantu hot, accompanied by chili and cumin for added flavor.
