Ingredients:
⦁ Solo light dough
⦁ 500 grams (half a kilo) minced meat
⦁ 1 onion, finely chopped
⦁ 1 teaspoon salt
⦁ 1 teaspoon black pepper
⦁ 1 teaspoon cumin
⦁ Oil (for greasing the steamer)
⦁ Chili and cumin (for serving)
Preparation Steps:
- Prepare the Filling:
⦁ In a bowl, mix the minced meat with the finely chopped onion, salt, black pepper, and cumin until well combined. - Fill the Dough:
⦁ Take a piece of Solo light dough and place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center.
⦁ Fold and seal the dough around the filling to form mantu pieces. You can shape them as desired, typically folding and pinching the edges to seal well. - Prepare the Steamer:
⦁ Grease the steamer with oil to prevent sticking.
⦁ Arrange the mantu pieces in the steamer, making sure they are not touching each other. - Steam the Mantu:
⦁ Cover the steamer and cook the mantu for 20 minutes, or until the dough is cooked and the meat is fully cooked through. - Serve:
⦁ Serve the steamed mantu hot, accompanied by chili and cumin for added flavor.
