Indian Samosa with Solo Frying Dough

Ingredients:

⦁ Solo frying dough
⦁ Olive oil
⦁ 4 boiled potatoes, mashed
⦁ 1 white onion, chopped
⦁ 2 cloves minced garlic
⦁ 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
⦁ Fresh chopped coriander (cilantro)
⦁ 1 cup peas
⦁ Whole spices: cumin seeds and coriander seeds
⦁ 1 hot green pepper, finely chopped
⦁ Ground spices: cumin, turmeric, ground coriander
⦁ Salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Filling:
⦁ Heat olive oil in a hot frying pan.
⦁ Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and chopped ginger to the pan. Sauté until the onions are translucent and the mixture is fragrant.
⦁ Add the whole spices (cumin seeds and coriander seeds) and the chopped hot green pepper. Stir for a minute to release the flavors.
⦁ Add the half-boiled potatoes and peas to the pan.
⦁ Sprinkle in the ground spices (cumin, turmeric, ground coriander), salt, and black pepper to taste.
⦁ Stir the mixture over low heat until everything is well combined, and the flavors have melded together.
⦁ Mix in the fresh chopped coriander (cilantro).
  2.  Assemble the Triangles:
⦁ Take a piece of Solo frying dough.
⦁ Place a spoonful of the prepared filling in the center.
⦁ Fold and close the dough in the shape of a triangle, sealing the edges well.
  3.  Fry the Samosa:
⦁ Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
⦁ Fry the filled triangles until they are golden brown and crispy on all sides.
⦁ Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove any excess oil.
  4.  Serve:
⦁ Serve the crispy, fried samosa hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Enjoy your deliciously spiced vegetable-filled Solo dough triangles!
